Yard Waste Pickup Time--May 2023
The City of Champaign’s popular spring yard waste collection resumes this month. To participate, residents should place bagged or bundled yard waste at the curb by 6 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.
Collection resumes in the Orange Zone on May 8 and the Blue Zone on May 15. Public Works crews will begin picking up materials at 6 a.m. on your zone’s scheduled collection day then work through the entire zone on consecutive days until all neighborhoods are covered. This could take 3-4 days depending upon the amount of material to collect and the weather. Full details, including an interactive map are on the City’s website at champaignil.gov/yardwaste.
