The Champaign County Residential Electronics Collection (CREC) event this spring will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Parkland College. Registration for this event opens on Tuesday, April 1, 2026.
To attend the CREC event, residents of Champaign County must register online in advance at https://ecycle.simplybook.me/. The online registration process allows residents to reserve an available 15-minute time slot between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 17. Upon reserving a time, residents will receive confirmation via email and/or text message. Then, 10-14 days before the event, they will receive a postcard in the mail that will serve as their “ticket” into the event. A list of accepted and non-accepted items can be found on the registration website.
